Students are encouraged to explore and experiment with a wide range of art materials and techniques, to have a go, and most of all, to have fun!
They learn to appreciate their own work and the work of their peers and investigate artworks in a variety of styles and from different cultures and periods.
The ‘Art Room Experience’ encourages students to be creative and take a sense of pride in what they can create.
Students’ work is used in collaborative projects, community events and is featured regularly on the “Art Attack” segment on METV.
