Throughout the school, media is utilised in a number of different forms to engage and teach our students.
Studio 19 broadcasts a daily television program METV which is hosted by the students. This program was developed as an engaging means to teach behavioural, academic, social and personal skills in a consistent manner across the school. Families are also able to watch the program at home.
With the implementation of IPads across the school the application of video self-modelling and video peer modelling was possible. These are a means of engaging our visual learners in the acquisition of new skills at a more individual level.
The animation is taught as an elective in the Middle Years and Senior Pathway sections of the school.
